WHY US

Hanoar Hatzioni has over 80 years of experience in non-formal education for its members in the Diaspora. Our Israel Challenge Program was created in 2005 to offer the general public the opportunity to take advantage of our experience working with young adults from over 20 countries enabling us to provide the most rewarding pluralistic program available.

We are a legal, state authorized, non-profit ideological educational organization. What we provide is a service to maximize the educational and experiential benefits for each student, while minimizing the cost. We see each participant as an investment in the future of Israel and Jewish people.

Our program is a complete service. Activities including day trips, extracurricular events, hikes, options, courses, medical insurance, educational sessions and material, cultural events and activities, Hebrew lessons, accommodations and meals are all included in the tuition.

We are a true international program. During the past six years we have had over 500 participants from more than 20 countries: Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, Venezuela, Colombia, Panamá, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Peru, Mexico, USA, Canada, UK, Hungary, Turkey, Belgium, Greece, Spain, Italy, France, and more.

Israel Challenge offers each participant a wide array of options, giving each and every one the possibility to choose his/her own adventure. Our program is tailor made to the precise necessities and interests of each participant.

In Israel Challenge we believe to truly understand Israeli life and culture one need to live it. For this reason our programs are situated throughout Israel’s varied geographical areas both urban and rural.

Since we are aware that for some participants 5 months in Israel are not enough, we provide the possibility of extensions for up to 10 months. The activities and living arrangements for the extension periods are arranged individually for each candidate to provide the best experience possible.
